About Us

Our chapter is part of a national, non-profit organization that brings at-home moms and their children together with others who have the same things in common—and much more! Moms find support and friendship while their children find new playmates and exciting activities to stimulate their interests and gently encourage their social skills.

FAQs

What kind of things does the MOMS Club do?
The MOMS Club has a lot to offer its members! Our group meets monthly for a General Meeting that frequently has a speaker, discussion topic or other planned activity for moms plus a craft or games for the kids who are welcome at all meetings. We also have organized playgroups where moms with children of similar ages meet weekly at local parks, establishments or member’s homes. This is a great way to find playmates for your child and get encouragement and support for yourself from other mothers who are experiencing similar challenges. We also coordinate outings and activities such as picnics, park days, lunch or breakfasts, zoo trips, book club, recipe sharing, MOMS Night Out and much, much more! Additionally, we sponsor at least one service project per year that benefits children and/or moms in our community.

Are children welcome?
YES! The MOMS Club is unique in that we believe that being a mother should not isolate you. Children are welcome to ALL of our activities and meetings. Each month we have a MOMS Night Out on our calendar on weekday evening and most of our moms choose to leave their children at home for this one event, but it is never required.

How much does it cost to join?
We know being an at-home mother today means making a financial sacrifice, so the dues to our chapter are only $30 per year. We are an IRS nonprofit organization, so any money collected will be used exclusively for our programs and service projects. All officer and coordinator positions are held by member

Can I attend any activities before I join?
You are invited to attend two (2) General Meetings before you become a member. The International MOMS Club requires that we have a liability release form on file for all participants at MOMS Club functions outside of the General Meetings. Once you join, you will receive a newsletter and activity calendar so you can join in on the fun activities.
